Day 19 – Create your content base
This lesson is an exciting one as you will be creating the first pieces of content that go on your authority platform and your website. By the time you finish this lesson you will have 5 to 10 content pieces on your authority platform and on your blog ready to start bringing in traffic and leads!
In the last lesson you chose a platform that you will use to build an audience and attract leads. Now you will create the first pieces of content that will be posted on that platform.
Create a list of ideas

Now it?s time to come up with a great list of content ideas. Its best to start by brainstorming a list. It?s important to think about your core offer as you create your content. This will ensure you are creating content that will attract the people that need the offer you sell.
Next think about your potential customers. What kinds of questions are they asking? What kind of information are they looking for?
Then go out and see what content they are already consuming. Look on your platform of choice and see what kind of content exists in your niche.
Who are the popular creators on that platform?
What type of content do they have?
What content is getting the most views, likes, comments, and shares?
What type of feedback are those content pieces getting.
This will give you some great insight into what is popular and what kind of information your niche is looking for. Make a list of 5 to 10 ideas for content pieces you will create. When you?re ready create an outline for each piece of content and create it.
Finally, export it to its final format and post on your platform of choice. Next, also post it on your website.
For example, if you recorded a video for YouTube write a brief summary about that video and embed the video under the summary and post it on your blog.
Remember you want to always be building your own assets even if you?re using other platforms to build your audience. Also, having the content on your own site is great when new leads are on your blog or existing customers as they can consume more of your content and build up the trust factor.
