Day 18 – Choose your authority platform
In this lesson you will choosing the platform you will use to create authority and drive traffic in your marketplace. By the time you finish this module you will have determined the platform you will use and set up your account.
There are lots of different platforms to choose from to grow your online business. Here?s a small list of them:
- YouTube
- Podcast
- Facebook Live
- Blogging
- Facebook Groups
- Forums
When starting out you want to choose one platform that you will use to build an audience and get traffic back to your website. It?s important to only choose one. If you try to start out blogging, podcasting, and YouTubing all at the same time you will find it very difficult to find the time to make anyone of those things work for you.
Focus on one that fits your skill set and what you enjoy the most. Maybe you?re a great writer and decide that blogging is the best route for you. Or maybe you are great on camera and decide to do a YouTube channel.
Pick the one that works the best for you. Once you have picked the platform you will use start the setup process. Each platform will have a different set of options and tasks for you to complete. Things like:
Profile image, logo, description, channel art, etc. Follow all the necessary steps to get your platform started!
