Branson, Missouri Condo
Pet Friendly, Stunning Water View, Golf Course, Indoor Pool!
I remember my grandparents talking about Branson.
It was a big deal and something they really looked forward to.
They would drive their RV all across the country in their retirement years, and Branson, MO was one of their favorite places in the whole US to visit.
They would tell me about all the shows, the food, the friends, the good times.
I didn’t have any desire to go, honestly, but when my mother-in-law bought a condo out there, she talked about all the same fun things.
But honestly, I still didn’t want to go, lol.
It was really far (from San Diego, CA) and didn’t sound worth it to me.
But, when we moved to Texas, we suddenly got within a 6.5-7 hour drive of Branson, and it started to sound a lot more interesting.
Plus, I’m older now, and we have kids, and Las Vegas stopped being attractive to me years ago.
Branson has been dubbed a “dry Vegas” because none of the shows or attractions serve alcohol.
So it is considered very family friendly.
There are lots of shows and activities.
There is also a strong sense of patriotism and Americana.
We’ve been there 3 or 4 times now and in this post I wanna share some of my favorite experiences, tips, photos, stories, and more.

So, one thing that is really fantastic is the view! The condo is right overlooking the pond on the golf course.
It is really nice in this area because they do get seasons, and we have been in the summer and in the winter.
In the summer it gets pretty warm/hot, and in the winter it can get wet and cold. So there is sometimes frost or even snow!
Coming from Southern California, I never really believed in “seasons” lol, because the weather was always pretty much the same.
But spending time in Branson, MO during different times of the year is pretty special.
Also, I’m a homebody, so I like just staying indoors and on the back patio and watching the ducks, geese, beavers(!), fish, turtles, and golfers go by.
But, my family is much more excited by going out and seeing shows and doing activities. So let’s get on with it…
Well, actually, before we even have to go too far, there are world class amenities right in the resort!
There is an indoor pool and hot tub! Great any time of year!
And, most of the condos in this area don’t have access for guests because of newer HOA rules. But this condo has been grandfathered in so you get access to the pool, hot tub, gym, mini golf, billiards, and more!
Such as ping pong…
Volleyball,
Golf (for additional fees of course. “course,” get it?)
There is a nearby marina where you can rent a boat or go fishing…
Oh, and parking is super simple, no up and down stairs, the parking spots are on the same level as the front door and the whole unit is one level. It is on the top floor, but you enter it on the top floor so it’s really easy to load and unload…
The unit itself is a two bedroom, two bathroom condo, with its own kitchen and living room.
Breakfast bar and stools…
Washer and dryer, fridge, stove, toaster, everything you need to cook and clean and store leftovers or cook meals at home.
Pat, Elena’s mom, wanted to make a “theme” so that you’d remember it, so she chose ‘elephants.’
There are some fun board games to pass the time in the condo, especially nice on cold snowy days!
More elephants in the guest bathroom
The master bedroom…
The master bath…
The guest bedroom! Newly redesigned. It was laid out the other direction before, but it wasn’t as feng shui. Now it is much better and more flowing.

Here’s some more personal photos from some of our trips to Branson over the last couple of years. Here’s me enjoying a drink and a book on the back patio overlooking the pond…
There are several mountain coasters around Branson and we did The Runaway Mountain Coaster right about dusk. It was really fun! A little scary, because it is open and you can control how fast you go down the mountain, and I was pretty scared of going too fast and flying off, but Ethan had a great time and so did Elena and Bradley!
Elena and Ethan mini-golfing at the Grand Country Buffet indoor mini golf course!
One winter on Christmas morning we went to the Chateau on the Lake in Branson, MO. It is a really pleasant buffet and view. It was cool and crisp out and the snow made it feel really cozy. Elena and Bradley enjoyed the view of the lake from the back patio.
Bradley and Ethan fishing in the pond. Ethan, praying they catch a fish, LOL!
