Today is a good day to be thankful. I am exceedingy thankful for the rights I enjoy as an American citizen and appreciate the sacrifice that so many men and women have made to protect those rights.
But, our freedom is still not guaranteed and requires vigilance to ensure that it is not undermined by threats foreign…or domestic.
We are in unique times in many ways, but in other ways, its the same story. How manyof us are awaeof the history and how it repeats? Isn’t history written by the winners?
This 4th of July I will be teaching music to my band camp kids, thn enjoying some family time and fireworks.
I hope you have a happy 4th of July! A big “thank you” to all of our veterans and people currently serving.
